To Bind a Book
This spell isn't intended to force or coerce another to return the book. It affects the book, not the person it is loaned to.
Take the book and hold it between your palms. Send your personal energy into it and say: By hill and wind,By flame and brook, By shining Moon and sea,I place a bind Upon this book,That it will return to me!
Wrap one foot of pink cotton string around the book and secure it with a knot. Make sure it's tight, but not so tight you can't slip it from the book. Visualize the book returning to you and say: By hill and wind, By flame and brook, By shining Moon and sea, I place a bind Upon this book, That it will return to me! This I will, so mote it be!
Slip the string from the book and put it in a secret place or a Spell Box. As you actually loan the book, repeat the spell again while visualizing its return. Once the book has been returned, untie the string.
